I have been a teacher all my life. I started as a Karate teacher when I was barely 16 years of age and became an elementary school teacher which I currently still am. After the birth of my two sons I decided to become a Yoga teacher since Yoga has always been a passion of mine. Welcome to Agape Yoga and Fitness.
Yoga Instructor, Director of Programs ERYT 500 YCEP
Roxy Ring
Meet Roxy Ring ERYT 500, a passionate yoga instructor with nearly a decade of teaching experience. She found yoga after pursuing a dance career in Southern California. Rather than dancing in front of an audience, she fell in love with dancing on her yoga mat. In 2016, she received her first 200-hour certification through CorePower Yoga. Her eagerness for learning encouraged her to pursue a second 200-hour program in Phuket, Thailand, and later she completed her 300-hour advanced certification through CorePower.
Roxy is thrilled to be the Director of Programs at Agape Yoga & Fitness. As a Yoga Alliance-approved continuing education provider, she can share her knowledge and experience with others, which she is very passionate about. One of her greatest joys is mentoring yoga teachers, and she feels honored to have had the opportunity to assist and lead multiple training programs throughout her career.
With a background in dance, she brings a deep understanding of body mechanics, rhythm, and fluidity to her teaching. She believes yoga is more than a physical practice—it’s an opportunity for self-discovery, balance, and connection on and off the mat. Creativity is key. There is no one-size-fits-all in yoga.

Agape Yoga and Fitness has been my yoga home since 2020, and it’s where I obtained my RYT 200 certification. What started as a personal practice slowly turned into a desire to share yoga in a way that feels welcoming, supportive, and real.
My classes are approachable and thoughtfully guided, with options that invite students to move in ways that feel right for their own bodies. I care deeply about creating a space where people feel comfortable, seen, and encouraged, whether it’s their first class or one of many. For me, yoga is as much about connection and presence as it is about movement, and I hope people leave class feeling just a little lighter and carry that with them beyond the studio.
